What can you expect?
Board the boat on the edge of the city's old fortified quarter and join a professional guide for a cruise past the fortified city and its surrounding plant and animal life. This route gives you a surprising perspective on our fortified city.
With a skipper and guide, you'll cruise upstream towards the south, passing striking historic buildings such as the castles of Maurick and Herlaer. Along the way, you'll see plenty of nature and the Dommel river. The water authority has greatly improved the water quality, allowing plant and animal life to recover: you might spot a rare bluethroat flying past, a weatherfish swimming by, or a roe deer on the bank.
Exploring by water is the most beautiful way to discover the surroundings. You decide how long the cruise lasts. For larger groups, a fun option is to swap activities halfway, for example with a group exploring by bike.

Do we pay room hire?
No. We work with a minimum spend: a minimum amount to spend on food and drinks, depending on the time of day, number of time slots and day of the week. These are guidelines, and we regularly make exceptions. We don't charge booking fees either.
